About Sheriff’s Youth Activities League
Sheriff’s Youth Activities League – Making a positive influence in thousands of lives of our Lee County youth with fun, safety, and friendship.
In 2007, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office joined local business leaders and citizens in launching an initiative aimed at giving the local youth new, healthy opportunities to be active. It was named the Lee County Sheriff’s Youth Activities League (SYAL). Since then, thousands of children from one end of the county to the other have been provided with free and reduced cost access to after-school youth activities, mentoring and recreational programs.
