This course teaches techniques and life-saving skills professional drivers use in a "hands-on" driving environment. Students learn vehicle dynamics, safe driving practices, and responsible decision-making through the classroom and driving exercises.
The course is two days:
Friday, April 21: 5-8 pm
Saturday, April 22: 7-10 am
IMPORTANT: Additional paperwork is REQUIRED and must be submitted, at minimum, 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO CLASS. The forms can be downloaded here. Please complete all forms and attach copies of your teen's driver’s license/permit, vehicle insurance card and registration. Please scan and email to Teendriverchallenge@sheriffleefl.org or deliver in person or mail to headquarters at 14750 Six Mile Cypress Pkwy. Ft. Myers 33912. Attn: Stacy DeTar - CRU. The hours are Monday – Friday 7 am-5 pm.
